Our Mission
The Bears & Falcons Wrestling Booster is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening wrestling programs at Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé and Thunder Mountain Middle School.

Our mission is to foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive environment for student-athletes by providing financial, logistical, and community support to help them reach their full potential both on and off the mat.

Through fundraising events, community partnerships, and volunteer efforts, the Booster helps cover expenses such as travel, tournament fees, equipment, team gear, and training opportunities. We also work to build school and community spirit by celebrating the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our wrestlers and coaches.

The Bears & Falcons Wrestling Booster welcomes parents, alumni, and community members to join us in supporting our student-athletes. Together, we’re building a tradition of excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship that extends far beyond the mat.
Strengthening Wrestlers, Strengthening Community
Wrestling is one of the nation’s fastest growing sports, and Juneau is no exception. There were over 120 athletes that wrestled last year and even more are expected in the upcoming seasons. These young men and women are not just wrestlers, they are multi-sport athletes, students, volunteers, and workers who contribute to our community.
All In For Wrestling
The success of a growing program comes with a cost. Last season, travel expenses alone exceeded $72,000. The athletes and their families shoulder much of that burden, both in fundraising and out of pocket contributions. Your support helps ensure that every wrestler - regardless of financial situation - can compete.
